Tuna onigiri

Wet your hands with salted water before shaping: the rice stops sticking and gets seasoned on the surface.

Ingredients

  • 150 gWhite rice
  • 100 gCanned tuna
  • 30 gFat-free fromage frais
  • 10 mlSoy sauce
  • 10 gSesame seeds

Method

  1. Rinse the rice until the water runs clear and cook it with 1.2 times its volume of water, covered, for 12 minutes, then rest for 10.
  2. Mix the drained tuna with the fromage frais and soy sauce.
  3. With hands wet with salted water, take a ball of warm rice, press a hollow, add a spoonful of tuna and close into a triangle.
  4. Roll the edges in the sesame seeds. Make 4 onigiri.
