Kidney bean brownies
Blend the beans for a long time, a good two minutes: it is the only way nobody will guess they are there.

Ingredients
- 400 gKidney beans (drained)
- 40 gUnsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 pieceEggs
- 80 gMaple syrup
- 50 gDark chocolate (70%)
- 40 gHazelnuts
- 4 gBaking powder
Method
- Heat the oven to 180 °C and line a square tin with baking paper.
- Rinse and drain the beans, then blend very finely with the eggs, maple syrup and cocoa.
- Stir in the baking powder, chopped chocolate and chopped hazelnuts.
- Pour into the tin and bake for 25 minutes: the centre should stay fudgy. Cool before cutting into 9 squares.
