Homemade burger with oven-baked sweet potato fries

Never press the patty in the pan: you squeeze out the juices and it dries out in a minute.

Ingredients

  • 240 gMinced beef
  • 140 gWholemeal bread
  • 40 gSalad leaves
  • 100 gTomatoes
  • 40 gOnions
  • 10 gMustard
  • 400 gSweet potatoes
  • 10 mlOlive oil

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 220 °C. Cut the sweet potato into fries, toss with the oil and salt, spread out without overlapping and bake for 25 minutes.
  2. Shape two patties without overworking the meat, and salt them just before cooking.
  3. Sear for 3 to 4 minutes per side in a very hot pan, without pressing.
  4. Halve and toast the bread, spread with mustard and fill with lettuce, tomato, onion and the patty.
