Sweet and sour pork with pineapple

Fresh pineapple brings the sweetness to the sweet-and-sour sauce: no ketchup or added sugar needed.

Ingredients

  • 300 gPork loin
  • 200 gPineapple
  • 1 pieceBell peppers
  • 100 gOnions
  • 25 mlSoy sauce
  • 15 mlCider vinegar
  • 140 gWhite rice
  • 10 mlNeutral oil

Method

  1. Cook the rice. Cut the pork into thin strips.
  2. Sear the pork in very hot oil for 4 minutes and set aside.
  3. Stir-fry the sliced onion and pepper for 3 minutes, then the pineapple cubes for 2 minutes.
  4. Return the pork, add the soy sauce and vinegar, reduce for 1 minute and serve on the rice.
